“The power of artistic expression is to convey a simple message: VOTE.”
— Rick Robinson
RICK ROBINSON’S ACTIVIST ARTWORK LIVES BETWEEN THE PHYSICAL WORLD AND THE METAVERSE.
The Pink Fist NFT is an identical collection of 10,000 3D rendered sculptural Pink Fists, priced at $20.22 each, with a simple call to action…
VOTE ON-CHAIN & IRL.
The NFTs were inspired by 50 limited edition, physical sculptures handmade in Rick’s studio that will be displayed at Gloria Delson Contemporary Art Gallery in Los Angeles.
A majority of the proceeds from the Pink Fist NFT sales (60% or more) will be donated to our non-profit partner organization, Center for Common Ground, which educates and empowers under-represented voters.
About the Artist
For the past 30 years, Rick Robinson has created physical and digital artwork out of his Downtown LA based studio in a career that spans from author to artist and sculptor. His Primitive Pop steel sculptures mix the raw iconography of Native American Petroglyphs with pop materials inspired by the California Cool School – think steel, acrylics, gloss, polymer, and fluorescent paints.
Rick has shown his work in galleries and public spaces all over the world including LA, SF, New York, Belgium and Germany. Rick blends his art career with his day job as a media executive, currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Project X Media, a NY-based Out of Home Advertising agency, and as a member of the West Hollywood design review committee.
PINK FIST
AS A VIRAL SYMBOL

GET OUT THE VOTE, MADE FOR 2022
PINK FIST AS A SYMBOL
Pink Fist NFTs illustrate the importance of a non-partisan “Get out the vote” message that resonates across the real world and metaverse. Rick being motivated by a new medium and converting artwork with meaning and purpose in an area that so often lacks it.
Rick Robinson’s Pink Fist artwork, inspired by a simple message to vote, was his personal response to the demands for social justice and the passionate voices expressed on the streets during 2020.
The image with the word “VOTE” over the fist symbol was featured in iconic spaces such as Times Square, NYC, Hollywood Blvd, LA, SF and Atlanta, GA, as a means to raise awareness during the 2020 election and also raise funds for The Center for Common Ground, a 501(c)(3) non-partisan voting rights organization.
